Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) continuing education can be applied for through the Korean Association of Emergency Medical Technicians' website after logging in and accessing the continuing education application menu. Eligible applicants include EMTs and those working in related fields. Failure to complete the required education may result in penalties such as suspension or revocation of certification. Four hours of continuing education are mandatory each year. The Ministry of Health and Welfare entrusts the association with the education program. Those eligible for exemption must apply for an exemption, and those with a deferral must complete additional training after the deferral period. Military personnel and those who obtained their certification in the current year are exempt. Additional training is required once the reason for deferral is resolved.
