Harmful agents include approximately 180 items, such as chemical substances, radiation, dust, and night shift work. The examination cycle is set from 6 months to 24 months depending on the degree and type of exposure. These examinations must be conducted only by medical professionals who have received occupational disease prevention training and in certified facilities. Failure to comply may result in fines for both employers and employees.
