Through the 'Children's Happiness Project' hosted by Seoul City, children aged 8 or younger (born after January 1, 2011) can apply for a special glasses subsidy. They can receive up to a 20% discount on glasses frames and lenses at various optical stores, including Davich Optical, Eutteum 50 Optical, Kyungnam Optical, C Channel, and Glass Story. This subsidy is available to children aged 8 or younger residing in Seoul. Children under 6 years old will need a prescription from an ophthalmologist to get glasses. Parents can apply on behalf of their children. The coupon must be used within 6 months of issuance, and the expiration date will be notified via individual text message.
